Employee payroll viewer

What it is

The employee payroll viewer gathers the payments your employers made to you with payroll tax receipts. It lets you see how the income and withholdings that the SAT uses to prefill your annual return are built, and check that they match the receipts from your employer.

Time

The lookup is online. The date when the information cut was updated is shown at the top of the tool.

Requirements

• To sign in you need your RFC and your Contraseña, or your electronic signature.
• If you have neither a Contraseña nor an e.firma, the SAT says to go to a guidance module so an advisor can help you check your information.

Steps

1. Enter from the SAT’s Declaraciones / Visores section or in the employee payroll viewer.
2. Type your RFC and Contraseña, or sign in with your electronic signature.
3. Check the yearly total from all your employers, the yearly total for each employer, the detail for each month, or the list of CFDIs paid in the month.
4. Each month’s receipts are grouped by the payment date your employer recorded.
5. If a yellow-icon alert appears, check the stamping of that receipt with your employer.
6. The viewer only shows receipts that are still valid.
